Vinod Rohira
Vinod Rohira

Managing Director & CEO Commercial Real Estate & REIT,

K Raheja Corp

There are managers and then there are visionaries. Vinod Rohira is one such visionary who has pioneered the concepts of landmark business districts, premium residential and retail complexes, which have become the reference points in real estate. Vinod is a dynamic, results-oriented leader and a key member of the leadership team that has built the K. Raheja Corp into one of the most respected and leading names in Indian real estate.

Equipped with an MBA from Booth School of Business, Chicago, and a law degree from the Mumbai University, Vinod began his career with the K. Raheja Corp, two decades ago. A compelling leader with unflappable attitude and high-octane energy he is known to inspire his team to perform at high levels of competency. Aspiring to create the most powerful brands in Residential and Commercial Real Estate, infusing each with its own unique brand identity and positioning, Vinod and his team strive to make every project a benchmark for others to follow.

A fine example of his work ethos is ‘Mindspace’ – built with the idea of establishing self-contained world-class business districts, across cities; a concept which has completely revolutionized the Commercial Real Estate sector in India. Vinod’s idea of integrated business districts was prescient giving birth to a new-age philosophy of ‘live and work in India’.

If there is a project that can define Vinod, it would be the ultra-luxury living residential complex, ‘Vivarea’ at Mahalaxmi, Mumbai. He recognized an imminent requirement for an opulent development, without being ostentatious, and conceptualized Vivarea. The residential complex now stands tall as an extraordinary approach to urban living with unending living spaces, avant-garde architecture and an immaculate landscape making it the beacon of premium residences.

To match the pace and demands of the growing urban populace, another brand extension christened ‘Vistas’ has been conceptualized by Vinod to deliver ambitious homes in upcoming markets in Southern and Western India.

Vinod has also played a vital part in the company’s initial move toward retail development, and played a key role in shaping the prominent shopping destination that is known to all as Inorbit Malls.

Currently, Vinod’s focus is on driving commercial real estate to take it to the next level, while continuing to offer strategic inputs in residential development projects for the Group.

It is said that a visionary builds what dreamers imagine. Have one look at Vinod’s projects and you will know that masterpieces are built with much more than brick and mortar!
