Ms. Wong is the Chief Executive Officer of Champion Real Estate Investment Trust, overseeing its strategic development as well as asset management and enhancement. She also spearheads the team to seek for growth opportunities, formulate acquisition and investment strategies and monitor the capital structure of the Trust, including the planning and overseeing of capital raising activities from the market. 

Ms. Wong has over 15 years’ experience in local and overseas financial industry. Prior to joining the Trust, she worked at Citigroup and J.P. Morgan’s investment banking division to offer strategic advices to a number of blue chip corporates and Hong Kong real estate companies. She has also executed numerous landmark IPOs, capital markets fund-raisings and strategic M&A transactions.

Ms. Wong graduated from University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) – Ross School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She was honoured with the titles of Best IR by CEO by the Hong Kong Investor Relations Association in 2017, 2018 and 2019; Directors Of the Year Awards 2018 – Listed Companies Executive Director by the Hong Kong Institute of Directors in 2018; and Asia’s Best CEO by Corporate Governance Asia in 2017, 2018 and 2019. She is the Chairperson of Asia Pacific Real Estate Association Hong Kong chapter and a Fellow member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Sarah Cooper is Managing Director & Global Head of Real Estate Equity Sales at BofA Securities, based in Hong Kong. She is a member of the BofA Hong Kong Leadership team, and Chairman of the Hong Kong Philanthropy committee.

Sarah works closely with both the research & banking side of BofA. She has worked on transactions from markets as diverse as Russia, China, India & Indonesia, as well as being active in traditional developed markets (notably Australia, UK, Germany, Singapore, USA, HK & Japan). Sarah was a top ranked property analyst in Australia, before moving to London and
then Hong Kong where she has lived for 10 years.

Sarah is ranked the #1 property specialist sales person in II & is a trusted advisor of both global & local real estate investors. Sarah is a Global Trustee for the Urban Land institute, and on the Board of the HK chapter of the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association. She is the Chairman of BofA’s HK Philanthropy committee, & was previously Co-Chair of the Asian GBAM Women’s Leadership Council. She completed the Taupo Ironman in 2001, coaches mini rugby & Auskicks, & is passionate about family, travel, & cutting the volume of emails at BofA. She has been at the firm for 20 years.

Ms. Chiu is the Chief Executive Officer of ARA Asset Management (Fortune) Limited, as manager of Fortune REIT, since February 2015. She is responsible for the overall performance and direction of Fortune REIT.

Ms. Chiu holds a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Economics and Finance, a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance, a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law. She is also a solicitor of the High Court of the HKSAR, a CFA Charterholder, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

Edmund Ho is the Regional Head of Commercial Real Estate, Greater China & North Asia, for Standard Chartered Bank.  With a team of 30 plus bankers based in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Seoul, he manages the bank’s Commercial and Investment Banking business targeting highly selected group of property developers and property institutional investors in the regions.  Edmund’s business scope comprises loans (corporate and project levels), leverage financing (bridge and acquisition finance), capital markets (bonds and bank syndications), corporate advisory (M&A and private placement), and balance sheet management (transaction banking and financial markets/hedging).  Edmund is also responsible for managing the bank’s real estate loan exposure in the regions he covers.
 
Edmund has over 25 years of corporate banking and investment banking experience.  He joined Standard Chartered Bank in June 2009 after heading Citibank’s Real Estate Investment Banking franchise in Asia Pacific as a Managing Director.  Prior to Citibank, Edmund was a Greater China investment banker at JP Morgan and Jardine Fleming.  Edmund has a BSc degree in Engineering Physics from Queen’s University (Kingston, Ontario) and an MBA from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.  Edmund is also a chartered holder of CFA.

Jeremy is a senior lawyer in the Hong Kong office with over 10 years of experience advising REITs on their formation, acquisitions, disposals, equity/debt capital raising exercises and liability management exercises. He has worked on almost all of Hong Kong's largest REIT transactions, and has been recognised by Legal 500 as a "Next Generation Partner" for investment funds, as well as recommended in the area of REITs.

  • Advised China Merchants Commercial REIT on its IPO and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
  • Advised Link REIT as Hong Kong regulatory counsel on its AUD683 million acquisition of 100 Market Street in Sydney from Blackstone,
  • being Link REIT's first acquisition in Australia and first acquisition outside Hong Kong and China.
  • Advised Link REIT on its RMB6.6 billion acquisition of Corporate
  • Avenue 1 & 2 in Shanghai from Shui On Land, its joint venture with Nan Fung to develop land acquired from the Hong Kong Government through public tender for HKD5.86 billion, and other real estate acquisitions and disposals in Hong Kong and China.
  • Advised Yuexiu REIT on its RMB8.85 billion acquisition of Guangzhou International Finance Center in China, its subsequent RMB2.62 billion acquisition of Hongjia Tower in Shanghai, and its subsequent RMB2.28 billion acquisition of 67% of Wuhan Yuexiu Fortune Centre in Wuhan.
  • Advised Fortune REIT on its Hong Kong/Singapore dual listing, its subsequent HKD5.84 billion acquisition of Kingswood Ginza Shopping Mall in Hong Kong, its subsequent HKD1.9 billion acquisition of two other shopping centres in Hong Kong, and its subsequent Singapore delisting.
  • Advised Champion REIT on its HKD12.8 billion acquisition of Langham Place Mall and Office Tower, one of Hong Kong's tallest buildings, including its unit placement to partly finance the acquisition.
  • Advised Regal REIT on its HKD3.4 billion acquisition of two Regal iClub hotels in Hong Kong, and its subsequent HKD1.36 billion acquisition of a further Regal iClub hotel in Hong Kong.
  • Advised Prosperity REIT on its HKD1.01 billion acquisition of the Chong Yip Building in Hong Kong, its subsequent proposed HKD1.87 billion acquisition of another commercial building in Hong Kong, and its subsequent HKD885.7 million disposal of the office portion of the Harbourfront Landmark building in Hong Kong.
  • Advised Spring REIT on its GBP 73.5 million acquisition of a portfolio of 84 Kwik-Fit tyre repair centres in the UK, its successful unitholder activism defence against PAG, and its subsequent issuance of convertible bonds.
  • Advised the trustee of New Century REIT on the IPO and listing ofNew Century REIT, as well as the REIT's subsequent RMB700 millionacquisition of the Songjiang Hotel in Shanghai and EUR25.7 million acquisition of the Holiday Inn Eindhoven.
  • Advised the trustee of Hui Xian REIT on the REIT’s proposed RMB3.9 billion acquisition of the Metropolitan Plaza and Tower in Chongqing, and subsequent RMB776 million acquisition of two further hotels in the PRC.
  • Advised Champion REIT, Regal REIT and Yuexiu REIT on the establishment and issuance of notes under their respective medium term note programmes and/or liability management exercises.

Bryan T. Southergill (Hong Kong) joined KKR in 2013 and is a member of the real estate team. He has led the build out of the Asia real estate investing platform and is responsible for advancing KKR’s regional real estate investment strategy across Asia. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Southergill was managing director and head of Asia Real Estate Investing in J.P. Morgan's Global Special Opportunities Group, where he led its proprietary, special situations-style, real estate investing business in Asia. Prior to that, he was deputy head of Asia Real Estate Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley. During his time at Morgan Stanley, he was based in New York, London and Hong Kong, and had responsibility for both principal investing projects and corporate finance advisory assignments in the United States, Europe and Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College. He also serves on the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA) Hong Kong Chapter Board.

Mr. Roberto Versace is the Head of Listed Real Estate Asia Pacific at APG Asset Management in Asia.

Prior to joining APG in 2017, Roberto was Managing Director, Lead Portfolio Manager at EII Capital Management in London. From 2010 to 2015 Roberto was the Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager for Asia at BNY Mellon Investment Management in Singapore. Prior to BNY Mellon Roberto was the Portfolio Manager for the NYSE Listed RMR Asia Pacific Real Estate fund on behalf of RMR Advisors in Boston.

Roberto is a member of the APG Asset Management Asia Executive Management Committee and Global Real Estate Investment Committee, a board member of the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association leadership council in HK and also a member of the FTSE EPRA Nareit Asia Pacific regional advisory committee. 

Roberto is an MBA candidate at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and the School of Business and Management at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and holds a Bachelor of Economics from The University of Adelaide.

Andrew is the Regional Senior Partner of KPMG in Hong Kong and Vice Chairman of KPMG China and Global Chairman of Asset Management and Real Estate of KPMG International.

He has over 25 years' experience servicing listed companies, public bodies, investment funds and MNCs in Hong Kong, China, Asia and internationally. 

He has a keen interest in corporate governance, board leadership and business in the community and leads the quarterly KPMG Independent Non-Executive Directors Forum.

Andrew chairs the Listing Committee of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and sits on the advisory panels of the Securities Institute, Hong Kong Investor Relations Association and Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Andrew was appointed by the HKSAR Government as a council member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). He sits on the Belt and Road Committee and chairs the International Working Group and the Global Belt and Road Forum. 

Andrew was appointed by the HKSAR Government as a director of the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC) and sits on the FSDC Policy Research Committee. 

Andrew has had a number of senior national, global and regional roles with KPMG. He is currently the Global Chairman of Real Estate and Construction, and ASPAC Chairman of Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare, which also includes the real estate, hospitality and transport sectors.  

Andrew is in the global leadership team of KPMG’s Belt & Road Centre of Excellence leading efforts in establishing greater linkages between Belt & Road country Governments and interested Chinese and International services private sector investment partners.  

Andrew previously was Head of Capital Markets at KPMG China and Asset Management in Asia Pacific.

Andrew is Chairman of Pacific Basin Economic Council and Plan International and Deputy Chairman of UNESCAP on financial services and was previously Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and of Community Business Leadership Council as well as a member of the International Business Council.

Andrew was made an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2017 for his contribution to trade and investment links between Hong Kong and the UK.

Andrew is a Fellow of ICAEW, HKICPA and IOD and a regular speaker at forums and business schools and has an honours degree in Economics and a Master degree in Economic Development.

Mr Yau is Chief Strategy Officer of Link and is responsible for developing, communicating, executing and sustaining corporate strategic initiatives. He currently oversees all functions covering external affairs, stakeholder management and corporate strategic initiatives, including corporate affairs and marketing, investor relations, sustainability, as well as corporate finance. He joined Link in November 2010 initially with the Investment team responsible for merger and acquisition initiatives for the Company, and the formulation of the corporate sustainability strategy. He is one of the responsible officers of Link for the purpose of the SFO.

Prior to joining Link, Mr Yau worked as an investment banker and corporate manager in DBS Asia Capital, CLP Holdings, UBS Investment Bank and Jardine Fleming.

He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MA from Harvard University, and a BA from Brown University.
