Singapore – 8 February 2022. The Asia Pacific Real Assets Association (APREA) is pleased to announce that Ms. Irene Rika Shimada has been appointed as a Member of the APREA Japan Chapter Board with effect from 3 February 2022.
Based in Tokyo, Irene is an Executive Director of JP Morgan Asset Management. She is a portfolio manager in JP Morgan Asset Management’s International Equity Group, where she manages global real estate securities portfolios.
She was previously an equity analyst covering the Japan and Developed Asia-Pacific Real Estate, Housing and Construction sectors at JPMorgan Asset Management. Prior to this, Irene worked in the Investment Banking division of Merrill Lynch Japan Securities.
Irene holds a BSc in Government and Economics and an MSc in Real Estate Economics and Finance, both from the London School of Economics.
