As the Deputy General Manager of China Overseas Commercial Properties CO., Ltd.(COCP), Angel Tang leads the assets management and leasing effort of COCP’s 6.6 million-square-meter Grade A office buildings across China and overseas. She has 123years’ experience in the field of commercial real estate.

As a flagship of the global commercial office asset management brand, COOC(China Overseas Office Capital)has been established under Tang’s leadership in 2016,it has transformed COCP from a traditional office building property developer and operator to a global office assets manager through the creation of a complete office asset development and management chain. This has catapulted COCP’s Office assets business segment into a new phase of comprehensive brand development.

So far COOC has become one of the largest single ownership office building development brands in China, developing and operating more than 80 Grade A office buildings across more than 20 cities such as London, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. Co-working space brand OFFICEZIP is rapidly rising in the co-working office market with its unique space aesthetics, new and frontier intelligent technology, and high-level operational services.

Mr. Garrood is portfolio manager for Asia-Pacific and global real estate securities portfolios and has security coverage responsibility for Australia and New Zealand. He has 14 years of investment experience. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Mr. Garrood was with UBS, most recently as a real estate securities analyst for UBS Global Asset Management, and previously as an associate director in the real estate group of UBS Investment Bank. Mr. Garrood is based in Hong Kong.

Professor Graeme Newell is Professor of Property Investment at Western Sydney University. He has over 40 years’ experience in property education and research, having received numerous research grants and his applied research has been published widely. Graeme has strong links to the property industry, both in Australia and internationally. He has been a member of APREA for many years and has done several research reports for APREA concerning Asia REITs, and the significance of real estate in Asian pension funds.

Aditya is a senior portfolio manager in ADIA’s Asia-Pacific real estate team, with primary responsibility for ADIA's investments in Indian, Japanese and Korean real estate. He has been with ADIA since July 2012. His responsibilities include helping manage the Asia Pacific portfolio and investment team. In addition to his duties as a member of the Asia Pacific team, he was chair of ADIA’s Real Estate Department’s Task Force for ADIA’s 2017 Global Investment Forum.

Immediately prior to joining ADIA, Aditya was the Managing Director for SITQ India, a real estate division of the Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec in Montreal, Canada. Aditya graduated from the Sri Ram College of Commerce in Delhi University with a BA in Economics, and studied at Carnegie Mellon University to graduate with an MBA degree. He is a former member of the South Asia advisory board of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and a member of the advisory board for Global Real Estate Investors (GRI India).

From 2015 to 2023, he served as the President & CEO of Sumisho Realty Management, a subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation, and expanded its AUM to over ¥700 billion. He diversified the firm's investments in structures such as SOSiLA Logistic REIT(publicly-traded) and SC Realty Private REIT(privately-placed) alongside a broad spectrum of separate accounts.

Earlier, at Sumitomo Corporation, he held pivotal roles and managed a comprehensive real estate portfolio in both Japan and the US, encompassing residential, commercial, and logistics sectors.

He has also served as a Non-Executive Director of Longevity Partners.

Recently, he has taken on a new challenge as an executive director at REVOLUTION Co., Ltd., where he oversees real estate investments.

He graduated from Kyoto University in 1983 with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Also, he is a licensed architect in Japan, an esteemed ARES Certified Master, and a distinguished Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Biography of Dr. Terence Ho Wah Chan (陈浩华博士 简介)

Dr. Chan has had close to 30 years of experience in real estate investment and finance, listed companies’ mergers and acquisitions in the regional capital market. He has participated in over 20 trophy mix-used complexes in landmark metropolis in Asia. Dr. Chan has successfully raised billions of dollars from blue chip capital such as Singapore's GIC, closing deals in the areas of private and public equity investment, corporate restructuring and asset injection, distress debt investment, bond issuance and IPO spin-off exercises. Dr. Chan is also an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Real Estate and Construction at the University of Hong Kong with majors in securitization, technology application and sustainable development.

Dr. Chan concurrently runs a family office - Asia Impact Investment Corporation (“AIIC”), which is sponsored by high-net-worth individuals to invest in sustainable real estate projects in China and North America as well as private equity in the segment of construction and property and financial service, particularly in the areas of digitization and green and smart solution. AIIC successfully co-invested with sovereign funds, listed companies and financial institutions in projects and corporations at an aggregate amount of over USD1.5 billion.  

Dr. Chan holds a PhD in Economics and MSc in Real Estate, and also holds a fellow professional membership in CPA Australia (FCPA) and Royal Institute of Charted Surveyors (FRICS). He also holds the Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) and the fellowship of Certificate in Finance and Technology. Dr. Chan is deeply involved in industry development and social services and is the committee chair of ESG and Sustainable Investment Committee of Hong Kong Independent Non-Executive Director Association (HKINEDA), a member of REIT Committee of Securities and Financial Commission (SFC), a member of Mainland Opportunity Committee of Financial Service Development Council (FSDC) and a member of Hong Kong Baptist University Council and Foundation. Dr. Chan has also made a remarkable contribution to the economics and technology partnership between Hong Kong and Shanghai through his deputy president role in the Hong Kong-Shanghai Economic Development Association as well as his membership in the Economic chapter of CPPCC Shanghai Municipal Committee.

陈博士除了拥有经济学博士及房地产学硕士学位，他亦是澳洲资深注册会计师(FCPA Aust.)、英国资深皇家特许测量师(FRICS)、美国特许金融分析师(CFA)及英国资深金融科技师(Fellow CFT)。陈博士在行业协会及社会服务亦不遗余力，包括担任香港独立非执行董事协会ESG与可持续投资委员会主席、香港证监会房托基金(REITS)委员会委员、香港金融发展局内地机遇委员会委员及香港浸会大学校董会与基金会成员。陈博士亦以沪港经济发展协会副会长及上海市政协经济小组委员身份积极为沪港两地的科技及经贸合作出谋贡献策。

David Fogarty is the Head of ESG Consulting & Sustainability Services, Paia FROM CBRE, APAC.

He has previously the roles of Executive Managing Director for Property Management in the United Kingdom, Managing Director, Property & Asset Management Singapore and Southeast Asia, and Regional Director, Asset Services, Pacific (Australia and New Zealand).

David is a passionate advocate for creating an environment where people thrive, building communities and connections, integrating technology, sustainability, and people to help shape the future of the workplace and real estate.

With over twenty-five (25) years’ experience adding value in the industry across a range of commercial, retail, residential, mixed use, hospitality, and industrial property, David has successfully led Asset, Property and Sustainability businesses, building effective teams, driving strong growth, performance, and profitability.

Chee Kit holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) from Nanyang Technological University and a Master of Science (Power Engineering) from National University of Singapore.

He is currently the Senior Director for Cushman & Wakefield for IFM ,Asset Services and Sustainability (Singapore and Southeast Asia).  His career history also includes more than 20 years’ experience in design, planning, operating and maintaining institutional, government and defence facilities and infrastructures, office, residential, commercial and industrial properties.

Chee Kit plays a significant role in providing strategic direction, driving growth margins, overseeing business development and delivering quality outcomes.

He is a Certified Asset Manager (IAM), Fire Safety Engineer (FSM), Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) and Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE).

Mr. Ong serves as Head of Real Estate for Asia at The Olayan Group. Based in the Group’s Singapore office, Jeff oversees real estate investments, both as a direct investor and as a limited partner in real estate funds, covering the Asia-Pacific region and Australia. Jeff has over 25 years of diverse real estate investment and asset management experience in the region. Prior to joining, Jeff was with AEW Asia for nearly 12 years, overseeing investment in Singapore and Australia. Previously, he also held positions with Asia Equity and ING Real Estate. Jeff has a bachelor’s degree in business from Monash University in Australia.

Mr. Vinamra Srivastava is the Chief Sustainability Officer, of CapitaLand Investment (CLI).

Vinamra oversees the Group Sustainability function globally and is responsible for formulating and integrating the Group’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy, policies and best practices into its business and operations, helping CLI to achieve its sustainability targets, deliver long-term economic value to stakeholders and foster a culture of sustainability across the organization.

Prior to this role, Vinamra was CEO, Business Parks for CapitaLand India since 2018. He oversaw real estate investments, private equity fund management, asset management, development management, leasing & marketing, operations, strategic planning and sustainability strategy for growing CapitaLand’s business parks portfolio in India. Vinamra also led multiple sustainability projects across India, including evaluating investments in developing solar farms, formulating renewable power purchase agreements, installing rooftop solar panels, implementing digital technologies to improve energy and water efficiency, piloting zero-waste solutions and improving health & wellness quotients of the buildings.

He previously headed Group Corporate Strategy & Development for Ascendas-Singbridge between 2015 and 2018. In that role, Vinamra contributed to the successful AscendasSingbridge post-merger integration process, oversaw formulation of the company’s corporate strategy, formed entry strategies into new businesses and geographies, and played a key leadership role to develop the India growth strategy.

Prior to joining CLI, Vinamra was a management consultant having worked with firms like Roland Berger, Arthur D Little, Cisco Systems and BCG. He has diverse experience in the areas of growth strategy, new market entry, infrastructure investments, due-diligence, M&A, and feasibility studies among others. He has led projects in multiple geographies including South-East Asia, India, China, Middle East, Europe, and Africa.

Vinamra holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from University of Pune.

Josephine Yip is Vice-President, Investments & Asset Management at Ivanhoé Cambridge, the real estate group of CDPQ. She is based in Singapore and works with Ivanhoé Cambridge teams across Asia Pacific to design and execute investment and asset-management strategies.

She has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry covering capital raising, investments, asset management and portfolio management across varied sectors and countries in Asia-Pacific.

Before joining CDPQ Real Estate, she was SVP, Portfolio Management at Alpha Investment Partners where she led portfolio management and capital raising activities. She was also formerly VP, Investment Management at GIC, covering Australia, South-east Asia, India and Korea over a 12-year stint. She has a wide-ranging and versatile investment track record and is well-versed in portfolio deals.

Kemmu Kawai joined Longevity Partners Japan in September 2022 as the Country Director. Based in Tokyo, he oversees all operations and activities in Japan, the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. He brings him more than 16 years of experience in finance where he specialised in real estate and credit investments. Before joining Longevity Partners, he served as a Portfolio Manager at Norinchukin Bank and as Investment Manager at Center Point Development.
